WomenDeliver - Pre-Conference: Catalyzing Global Action to End Female Gentital Mutilation or Cutting (FGM/C)

Organised by The Global Platform for Action to End FGM/C and its partners (including Amref) 

 

Ahead of the Women Deliver 2023 Conference, the Global Platform for Action to End FGM/C and its partners are holding a pre-conference focused on FGM/that will bring together activists from different regions, as well as global actors to strengthen cross-regional engagement and mobilize collective action.

 

The pre-conference plans to bring together about 80 FGM/C activists from Asia, Africa and the Middle East, Europe and North America. The FGM/C pre-conference aims to promote and encourage knowledge exchange, interregional collaboration and South-South cooperation; enable partnership building, linkages and learning among activists and organisations working to end FGM/C across Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe and America; identify collective advocacy strategies towards end FGM/C work globally.
