Drawing from experts across the Arab States Region, this webinar will focus on how unpaid care and domestic work is reflected in laws in Muslim-majority countries, especially in the Arab region. Speakers will provide examples from both discriminatory and egalitarian perspectives in the law and discuss around the importance of pursuing policy and legal reforms to recognize and redistribute unpaid care and domestic work in the Muslim world. The webinar is organized by the UN Women's regional program "Men and Women for Gender Equality", which is generously funded by Sweden.

The webinar will be held in Arabic with simultaneous translation into English provided.
