In het verenigingsdeel (13.00 – 14.30 uur) staan het Jaarplan 2023 en inhoudelijke ontwikkelingen centraal. Dit programma zal in het Nederlands plaatsvinden. Indien je gebruik wilt maken van vertaling in het Engels, geef dit dan vooraf per mail bij ons aan.
In het openbare thematische deel (15:00 – 16:30 uur) van deze ALV ligt de focus op ‘Feministisch Buitenlandbeleid & Handel: Add Women and Stir?’. Dit programmaonderdeel zal uitsluitend in het Engels zijn. We kijken er erg naar uit om elkaar weer ‘in het echt’ te ontmoeten. We maken er een interactieve en informele ALV van en nodigen jullie graag uit voor borrel aan het slot van de middag!

Public event: Feminist Foreign Policy and Trade: add women and stir?

Trade and trade agreements are necessary for societies and economies to prosper. However, the race to the bottom activities in current trade regimes, do not work for the planet and its people. Feminist Foreign Policy (FFP) has the potential to address structural power imbalances throughout all aspects of a foreign policy. This includes the trade agenda. But what does that look like in practice?
Please join us for a multistakeholder dialogue on the question: How can a Feminist Foreign Policy positively impact current challenges of trade policies?
