CSW69: Taking stock and holding the line: a cross movement dialogue about bodily autonomy

 

Organised by CMI!’s Pushing Back Against Opposition Working Group, ESWA and ILGA World, this event in a talk-show format will centre and amplify the voices of sex workers and trans and gender-diverse activists within CSW. The conversation will take stock of the advances on the rights of sex workers and trans and gender diverse people in the last 30+ years, the current geopolitical context and the advance of anti-rights and anti-gender actors within the human rights system and outside of it, and  explore how our movements can come together to support the rights and demands of sex workers’ rights and trans and gender-diverse movements.
