We kindly invite you this high level CSW69 side event, entitled "Engaging Men TowardsFeminist Peace and Demilitarization: Addressing the structural drivers of militarizedmasculinities", co-sponsored by the Governments of Colombia, Costa Rica, and the Republicof Malta, in partnership with PAX, Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom(WILPF), and ABAAD. The event aims to gather high-level representatives of governments,international organizations, and civil society to inform effective international support for engaging mentowards feminist peace and demilitarization. This event will convene a panel of feminist peace activistswith expert knowledge, to share their insights and actionable recommendations on engaging mentowards feminist peace and unpacking how processes of militarization are deeply gendered and canbe addressed. The discussion will center around the structural drivers of militarized masculinities, froma community to an international viewpoint
