GNWS) organizes the following hybrid parallel event during CSW67.
Technological innovation has become a vital part of the fight against gender-based violence globally. In this event, regional representatives of the Global Network of Women’s Shelters (GNWS) will share reports on breakthroughs and concerns in their region, highlighting the opportunities technology brings and its darker side: tech and digital abuse.
New publications, tools and initiatives of how technology contributes to women’s safety and ending gender-based violence will be presented, including an update on the status and future ambitions in the GNWS’ own technological innovation:
