In the Policy Letter on Development Cooperation dated 20 February 2025, the Dutch government announced that it will no longer allocate funding for the promotion of women’s rights and gender equality (Article 3.2 of the 2025 Budget for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation and parts of Article 3.3).
