Senior Officer Marketing and Communications Sarah van Brussel is responsible for WO=MEN's communications. She is in charge of external communication, such as social media and press relations. Sarah has been working as a communications officer for 13 years, focusing on women's rights, feminist activism, and social justice.
Why do you work at WO=MEN?
"You need to approach women's rights and gender equality in different ways and at different levels. The way WO=MEN does this is especially necessary in these times. I wanted to contribute to that."

"To keep women's rights and gender equality on the agenda, because these are always at risk and are the easiest to drop."
What makes WO=MEN special?
"It's a network of many different organizations and people who all bring their own perspective and experience. Together, we can do something that transcends the interests of individual organizations and people. The sum of the parts is much greater than the individual parts."
