Why do you work at WO=MEN?
"I find WO=MEN the ideal place to work together with a variety of (international) organizations, activists, and experts to promote women's rights and gender equality worldwide."
What inspires you in your work at WO=MEN?
"The diversity of expertise and experiences of members within the network, collaborating with inspiring colleagues in the office who come from different disciplines, and the human rights activists worldwide who work daily for a (climate) just world."
What do you hope to achieve or change through your work at WO=MEN?
"I hope to contribute, together with members, to a more inclusive climate and biodiversity policy and to a strong and solidary civil society in the Netherlands. I think it's important that we as organizations continue to find each other in the Netherlands, but also with local partners from the global South. Strengthening this cooperation and our mutual solidarity is essential to promote gender equality and women's rights."
What makes WO=MEN special?
"That we connect different organizations and experts, both nationally and internationally, to ensure that they work together effectively instead of lobbying independently for the same issues."
