High Level Political Forum (HLPF)
Date: 05-07-2022Time: 09:00 AM in Eastern Time (US and Canada)Location: onlineThe annual meeting of the UN on Agenda 2030 and the Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs) will be held on 5-15 July 2022 in New York. The main theme after the COVID-19 pandemic is ‘building back better’ which emphasises the implementation of the complete ‘Agenda 2030’ on sustainable development. This year, much of the attention will be on SDG 5: gender equality.
The other Goals that will be covered are SDG 4 (education), SDG 14 (life under water), SDG 15 (life on land), and SDG 17 (partnerships).
- The Netherlands will present its 2nd SDG report (‘Voluntary National Review’ or VNR) at this HLPF.
