Gendergelijkheid: waar(om) niet? Webinar Collegetour Gouda

Date: 12-05-2022
Time: 20.00 – 21.30u
Location: online

In the Netherlands, women and men have the same rights, yet their position is not equal in many areas. In which areas is this the case? And why is this so, how can we explain this cultural-historically? What is specifically Dutch about this inequality? Do women have to learn to "fight" better or is it more complicated? What role do prejudices about what is feminine and masculine play and who has what role? And perhaps most importantly: how can we turn the tide for the better?

Marian Spier and Irene van Staveren will discuss this.
