The Network UN Women Convention is organizing an (online) expert meeting on Monday 29 November to gather feedback on a draft summary of CEDAW GR37, the general recommendation of the UN Women Convention (CEDAW) that specifically addresses the issue of gender and climate change.
Marieke Vreeken was commissioned by the Network UN Women to write a draft text for the Dutch summary of the "General Recommendation 37" on gender and climate change. The theme of this General Recommendation fits well with the priorities of the upcoming UN Women's Assembly, the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW), which takes place in March.
