Date: 13-03-2025
Time: 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm EDT (New York time)
Location: Salvation Army Auditorium, New York

How can women’s groups around the world effectively collaborate? What does international GBV solidarity look like beyond the UN?

The Global Network of Women’s Shelters (GNWS) is the lead international alliance of regional networks and organizations serving survivors of GBV, SV and trafficking. As a global network, GNWS offers one model for CSO cooperation.
This session will share lessons learned from the GNWS’ history of international feminist coalition building, and current endeavours to unite and support our global network. The program will feature insights from members and information on the 5th World Conference and global GBV directory Lila.help.
