Amidst a myriad of crises exacerbated by the pandemic, it's imperative to recognize youth as pivotal to the development agenda. Yet, existing funding mechanisms often fail to address their needs, resulting in inadequate support or mere tokenism.
Our side event on youth-friendly feminist funding will shed light on the barriers faced by youth-led organizations and present promising approaches from the Power to Youth Program and other youth-led organisations in Africa and Asia.
Co-hosted by AMREF and CHOICE for Youth & Sexuality as part of the Power to You(th) consortium, this session will explore strategies to create effective feminist funding mechanisms that empower youth as agents of change.
