The Women, Peace and Security and Humanitarian Action (WPS-HA) Compact was launched in July 2021 at the Generation Equality Forum in Paris. As an inclusive and intergenerational platform, the Compact has a strong focus on harnessing meaningful youth engagement through its mandate and actions. The WPS-HA Compact will host an event on the margins of the 66th session of the Commission on the Status of Women with the aim of strengthening the intergenerational dimensions of WPS-HA work, and enhancing accountability for meaningful youth inclusion, particularly of young women. The event will emphasize opportunities and actions for WPS-HA Compact Signatories.
