Cultural Exchange with Young Activists from Libya, Yemen, Iraq and Syria
Despite the ongoing conflict, instability and the tough challenges, young activists are making a difference in the Arab World. How can new digital technologies be utilised to advance human rights in conflict situations? How can young activist benefit from NGOs and grassroots organizations in the region and effectively share knowledge and work together?
NAP1325 partner Karama Europe invites you to the NGO meeting of “Groeten Terug” to exchange ideas on how international NGOs can share knowledge, enlarge networks, and support the young activists, so that they can continue their work. The young activists Younes, Wjdan, Tara and Bushra will share their personal stories on how they are making positive changes for women’s and youth’s rights in their conflict affected countries (read their short bio’s below). The meeting will take place on April 3rd at 10am and will be hosted by WO=MEN, the Dutch Gender Platform.
