WO=MEN, Dutch Gender Platform will host a lunch session on Gender and Development with guest speaker dr. Juliet Hunt.
Juliet is an Australian advocate for gender equality and human rights. She has worked in the overseas development sector since 1978, focusing on gender equality, violence against women, gender auditing/self-assessment and organisational change, and research on gender issues. Juliet’s most recent research project was the Zimbabwe Gender Equality and Change study, undertaken in collaboration with Plan International Australia and funded by Plan Australia and Plan Germany.
Juliet will visit the Netherlands in June and we are very happy that she is willing to give a 30min. presentation of her work and most recent research findings. After that she would love to share knowledge and experiences with other experts and actors in the field. As an expert and/or relevant actor in the field, you are kindly invited to eat a sandwich (or two!) with us at our office (Korte Poten 9b in The Hague).
We are looking forward to hear your thoughts and experiences on the topic! See the full bio of dr. Juliet Hunt in the attachment. If you are interested to participate, please register at email@example.com. Please note that we have limited capacity (max. 20p), so do register in time!
